Accessibility
Last updated July 2026
We want Card HQ to work well for everyone. This page lists the accessibility features the app supports today and the ones we are actively building. We would rather tell you the honest state than over-promise.
Supported today
- Dark interface. Card HQ uses a dark color scheme throughout, which reduces eye strain and glare.
- Differentiate without color alone. The buy, hold, sell, and trade reads, and the up and down movers, use text labels and icons alongside color, so meaning does not depend on color perception.
What we are improving
These are on our near-term roadmap. We would rather ship them properly than claim them early.
- VoiceOver: full screen-reader labels on the card art, charts, and read indicators.
- Larger Text (Dynamic Type): letting the whole app scale with your preferred text size.
- Reduced Motion: honoring the system setting so animations calm down when you ask them to.
- Contrast: tightening text contrast to meet accessibility guidelines everywhere.
